Scientists reveal the discovery of Planet Orange located in US Airways Center today

PHOENIX – Scientists announced the discovery of a new planet – Planet Orange, at a press conference held earlier today at Arizona Science Center in downtown Phoenix.

Planet Orange, named for the orange glow that can be seen for miles coming from US Airways Center, defies the laws of gravity and is inhabited by a NBA team that can run faster, jump higher and score more often than the competition – the Phoenix Suns.

“Based on orbital observations and the examination of the composition of the new planet, I knew something was very different on Planet Orange.” said Peter Smith, Phoenix Mars Mission Principle Investigator at The University of Arizona. “The evidence of organized chaos and minimal gravitational pull, lead to the conclusion that the only sustained life on this planet could be the Phoenix Suns.”

Among the evidence found, the accelerated laws of time and space and an electric atmosphere solidified scientists’ assertions that Planet Orange is made up of the Phoenix Suns and its many citizens (fans).

“We have long theorized that the Suns play like they are from another world,” said Chevy Humphrey, President & CEO of Arizona Science Center. “The discovery of Planet Orange has now put the wonders to rest.”

Fans interested in becoming a citizen of Planet Orange can purchase single game tickets which go on sale Monday, September 24 at 10 AM. Citizens of Planet Orange will also enjoy the Suns season in high definition as all games will be broadcast in HD on FSN Arizona and KUTP My45.
